Aka JP and Tex is a graduate of Tuskegee Institute which is now Tuskegee University where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering.
In the fall of 1969 JP pledged Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship Inc. allowing him to forge lifelong relationships with fellowmen with identical goals and purpose . Upon graduating JP was recruited by Dowell a division of Dow Chemical where he worked as an engineer and sales rep.
He continued his journey with the Federal Aviation Administration in June of 1987, working as an electrical engineer, designing and teaching Lightning Protection Systems.
JP was a manager of several departments such as Human Resources and Operation Engineering. He worked as a District Manager for various airports throughout the southeast.
JP retired from the FDA in October 2017. JP now enjoys life reading, fishing and traveling.
JP is a volunteer for a nonprofit name RESTORE Duval where he serves as the president.
