Vernon graduated for Tuskegee Institute with a Bachelor of Science Degree, and a Charter Member of Tuskegee University’s Tiger Chapter # 1 of Groove Phi groove Social Fellowship Inc. Vernon a current member and Past Treasurer of the Atlanta Graduate Chapter and the Achieve One. He holds seats on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Achieve One and the Groove Fund.
Vernon also hold the position of Loan Executive for the United Way of Atlanta; he also a member of Black Men United for Children and Humanity.
